About this Product

Robot Army Z #089
Time Period: (2492-2938)
Robot Type: Motion Detector Stimulator-Class 3
Body Type: Shorty
Paint Code: Motion Beams RED

This is a cool robot in walking stride on top of a piece of wood that is a holder for keys or candy. His job would be to keep the motion activated lights on in the office. It is painted metallic red and like all other robots here, it is antiqued. It stands on top of a 2 inch thick mahogany that was shallowed out by hand and then oil finished. It is an oil that is used for cutting boards and it is food safe. Lastly I used high-gloss on the robot and the wood dish is oiled with no shine for contrast. It is a very cool piece for sure!! At well over 7 pounds, Its stands 15"H, 10"W, 7 1/4"D.

Meet the Maker

This is what I have become....I am a retired cabinetmaker/carpenter. Worked with wood my whole life, building in the shops and installing in the construction field commercially. Wanting to learn how to weld, I started building and welding metal robots out of 16 gauge steel sheet, pipe, and scrap metal. You can see some of my robots here or on Instagram/Facebook. I keep some and sell some all while using the money I make to buy new equipment to continue the Robot Army Z. They are robot zombies. They are all stick welded iron robots with their slag inclusive drippy welds of rot. They are all designed and built by me alone and are an original art piece. Shipping my robots is part of the process and I put great care into the packaging and shipment process. The robots will travel well and arrive safely. I'm always available for questions anytime...no problems!! thanks for checking out Robot Army Z

Frequently asked questions
How are they made?

The robots are welded with 6013 welding rods and made from pipe
and steel tubes, both round and square and 16 gauge steel sheet, also old tools.

Who builds the robots?

The robots are entirely designed, built and finished by me, the owner of Robot Army Z right here in the great state of PA, USA!!

Can I get my name welded on the robot?

Yes. Recently I added a listing where you can purchase a robot that you can pick the body, the head, a color and have you name welded on the front or back.
There is a paint drying time that needs to be met so please allow one week extra time for paint curing before shipping.

Do the robots have moving parts?

Yes. Unless otherwise stated the robots head can be rotated left and right and both arms can be spun around. This makes them great for photos and different arrangements.

What can a Robot Army Z robot do for me?

My robots will make you smile. They are a great conversation starter. Having a party? Set one up near the food for fun. Great photo ops. Gifts for dad, mom, older children that are hard to buy for their birthdays or holidays. Great in a bar area, mancave, she shed, your office, wreck room, anywhere. My handmade iron robots will make you happy.

Can you be contacted if I have a question?

Yes. I am always available to answer any questions. No worries!! You can contact me through the Goimagine contact seller tab. You can Follow me on Instagram and Facebook where you can comment and contact me also. I am also on Pinterest.

Do you build them by yourself?

Yes. I design and build and finish them by myself. My family will give me ideas at times and are a great support. I securely package and ship everything carefully. My family is also my backup to ship items if I am unavailable, which is never :)

How do you package them?

I am a retired cabinetmaker and carpenter. I know the importance of preventing damage by putting extra time into the packaging process. I completely protect my robots. They are wrapped as if they are going on a trip to the center of the earth. They will not move in the box and the box will withstand the worst of the worst delivery people. As seen on T.V.
