Meet the Maker
Welcome to Fire Fly Lanez! I started making Resin crafts almost one year ago and Diamond Art about two years ago and I LOVE IT! I also have fallen in love with making Resin Tumblers and Snowglobe Tumblers... It's not work if you love what you do... I would LOVE to share my joy with everyone else!
All Resin you see is handmade by me. Pieces are sold as is, BUT... can be customized to match your requests and/or your imagination... I use mica powder, opaque pigment, alcohol ink, glitter, shells… Items can be made into magnets, keychains and even pendants, ask and I'll see what I can do for you! Creations can be made for favors, christenings, baby showers/gender reveals, birthdays, house warming gifts, etc... (If you are interested in buying items in bulk please contact me for separate pricing.)

How to Make a Peek a Boo Snow Globe Tumbler
TUMBLER PREP:
Drill a hole in the bottom of the tumbler. Use an electric drill fitted with a medium sized drill bit. You want it to be big enough for your glitter to fit comfortably. Drill the hole near the edge of the tumbler so that the water and glitter will travel down the edge of the cup.
MIXTURE:
Gently mix your solution to avoid bubbles from the glue. I place my solution i a condiment squeeze bottle, makes it a whole lot easier to squirt in the cup! Add a small amount of the solution to the cup to avoid the glitter from sticking.
GLITTER:
Next, add the chunky glitter to the cup. The amount of glitter is totally your preference. Alternate between glitter and solution. Once the liquid has reached the top of the cup, you’re done! Make sure there are no visible air bubbles at the top of the cup. Rubbing alcohol will remove any oils or glue left from your mixture so that the resin will adhere well to your tumbler.
SEALING:
Seal the hole with UV resin. I place a small adhesive circle over the hole then cover with UV resin, I cure for about 3 - 5 mins and check to make sure there are no leaks. If the bottom of the cup has an inset (almost all do) I like to cover the whole inset with a thin layer of resin to ensure there will be no leaks. If you have a company label you can place it here as well.
DECALS:
It’s time to add the decals. You will need your Cricut machine for this unless you purchased some. Place your decals where you want on the cup.
SPRAY PAINT:
Pick the color you want and slowly spray over the decals and the entire tumbler. Once dry spray another layer to ensure coverage. I let it dry over night before I peel off all the decals, I just used my tweezers for this part. You can see all the different spots of glitter randomly showing through where your decal was hence the “peekaboo” part.
RESIN:
For your last step in this snowglobe peekaboo tumbler tutorial, it’s time to apply a layer of epoxy. So place your cup on the cup turner apply a layer of resin, making sure to get all areas of the cup, and let spin for about 12 hours. Once that coat is dry check to see if there are any imperfections, if so, lightly sand and add another layer of resin. You are finished, now just look at the amazingly beautiful tumbler you just made yourself.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
RESIN:
Please handle with care. Dropping your Resin art piece can result in damage. Please keep away from sunlight. Clean with a damp cloth, only if necessary.
DIAMOND ART:
Keeping your diamond art painting flat is the best way to store them as it will help avoid the diamonds from falling off its canvas. Store flat until you are ready to place it in a frame, or other permanent option.
DRINKWARE / CERAMIC MUGS:
Please do not place in dishwasher. Please handle your drinkware with care and hand wash with a soft non abrasive cloth. While the ceramic mug(s) can be put in the dishwasher, to preserve the beauty and longevity of the design, it is recommended (optional) they be hand washed.
