Meet the Maker

Mirage River Creations is run by a talented team of two sisters working from home to bring you creative patterns for you to make your own wonderful creations. I'm Sara, and I've been the primary driving force behind MRC from the beginning. It all started with doll dresses and went downhill from there! :) I've always loved to crochet, sew, and create everything from about scratch. I always have to tweak every pattern I come into contact with, so it was natural to jump to designing my own. My pet peeve is pattern pieces that just don't fit together, so I strive to have each and every piece sized to fit without any extra editing on the part of the seamstress. I bring that same dedication to all my products. My sister is the one who knits and all knitting patterns sold at MRC are hers. Everything you see in MRC has been designed by one of us and our interests span a vast majority of things. Look forward to seeing doll clothes patterns for sewing, crochet, and even knitting; plush toy patterns; doll accessory patterns; and perhaps even some other patterns as well. Note: I'm not a fan of having my image online, so the adorable dragon beside this paragraph is Scribbles, the dragon. He's a design of my own and entirely hand-sewn by me.
