This listing is for a beautifully done, hand sewn quilt top.
You choose from the drop down menu as to whether you want just the quilt top (only the front part of the quilt, unfinished, as pictured and not completely functional) or to have the item completed into a fully functional quilt consisting of 3 layers (the pictured top, a layer of batting/filling, and a layer of fabric for a solid back side).
The completed quilt, consisting of all 3 layers, would be a great gift for a new mom or as addition to any room of your home that you'd drape or use a quilt in.
The quilt top only (no batting/filling or back fabric) wouldn't keep anyone warm but would be ok to hang on a wall for a fabric based art piece.
If you use this 43"x37" (inch) quilt as a home décor item, instead of a baby crib quilt, you could drape on the back of a sofa or love seat, hang with safety pins on a wall, or hang from a quilt rack to display.
This quilt is made with different colors and prints of left over upholstery fabric (stiffer fabric) and cotton thread. The backing fabric, if choosing the completed 3 layer quilt option, will be a softer cotton fabric.
If choosing the finished 3 layer quilt option, please allow 2-4 weeks for completion before mailing.
This particular quilt was pieced together entirely by hand.
Custom and special orders of this item are welcome. Your custom/special order quilt would use the same pattern as shown in the pictured quilt but the fabric colors will vary depending upon your request.
Processing time (the time to make your custom order) could take as much as 14 weeks or more due to my current sewing and quilting method being entirely by hand instead of by sewing machine. So please be sure to allow ample time for processing, sewing and shipping to take place before ordering, especially if needed by a specific date.
Caring for your finished quilt is easy. Over my 20 years experience of quilting history I have found that my quilts can be machine washed, on gentle and in cold water with any non bleach containing detergents. I also have found they can be washed with other items but suggest washing with similar color and lighter weight items to avoid undue stress on the quilt. My quilts can also be placed in the dryer on medium heat, can be laid flat to dry or hung to dry.

Meet the Maker
My name is Erin Bross. I am the owner and operator of OtherItemsFor11Q.
I started out handmaking quilts (entirely sewn, pieced, and quilted by hand) at age 10. Slowly improving over the years.
Now I am branching out to sell the quilts and more on GoImagine.com after several years on Etsy and participating in in person craft fairs. Only now I get to stay home with my special needs daughter while doing so.
Shop Policies
- Returns and/or exchanges allowed on most items if you notify me of an issue within 5 days of receiving your order AND the order is returned in original condition and packaging within 14 days of receiving your order. Soaps, lotions, body butters are not accepted as returns or exchanges due to hygiene issues.
- Any refunds due will be for the purchase price only. It will not include any shipping charges, especially on orders already processed and/or mailed out. Return shipping is also exempt.
- Please ensure your address, or the address you want your order shipped to, is correct prior to purchasing. Any incorrect address returned items due to delivery attempts to an incorrect address, or requests to mail to a different address than was provided at the time of purchase will not be refunded. You'll then need to re-purchase the item and use of correct/preferred address used at that time. Re-shipment of orders mailed to an incorrectly provided address will require additional postal costs due to be paid before the item is re-mailed, assuming the item arrives back to me in the original condition and original packaging.
- I am open to large/bulk/wholesale orders on all soaps, lotions, and body butters. Please message me prior to purchasing for discounted listings, shipping preferences, and/or further details.
- All knit and crochet items cleaning: I highly recommend washing by hand, in cold water, with cold water washing soap. DO NOT BLEACH! Lay flat to dry.
- Quilted items can be washed on cool or warm, in a washer, by themselves. Tumble dry low or lay flat to dry. DO NOT BLEACH!
