About this Product
This Adjustable length Long Line Leash is designed to provide multiple leash lengths in one long continuous line by way of o-rings spaced along it's length. This multi function leash can be used to train your dog's recall safely in areas that aren't fenced in, or use it like I do to allow your dog greater range while hiking.
This is my favorite for hiking with my dog, allowing me to alternately shorten and lengthen the line as conditions allow, while keeping the leash securely fastened to my waist belt by way of a climbing rated carabiner.
I recommend the medium weight or heavy duty waist belt to pair with this adjustable leash. Available in my shop.
SIZING
This leash comes standard as a "4 Ring Style" designed for people 5'-6" or taller.
For dog parents who are of a shorter stature or anyone who would prefer shorter loops when clipped to the belt, I am also offering a "5 Ring Style".

STANDARD SNAP BOLT
These can accommodate any dog up to 80 lbs.

HEAVY DUTY SNAP BOLT is appropriate for any larger dog over 80 lbs
CARABINER is a great light weight option for any dog up to 80 lbs
LOCKING CARABINER can accommodate any dog up to 120 lbs.
These won't come off accidentally like snap bolts sometimes can!
HEAVY DUTY LOCKING CARABINER can accommodate any large dog - they have a working load limit of 400lbs.
The best option for safety if your dog is large and a flight risk or reactive dog.

HOW IT WORKS
The "dog end" of this leash uses a snap bolt or carabiner on a braided paracord loop that can act as a traffic loop as needed for additional control. The 4 Ring design provides three 1” Welded O-Rings at spaced distances along the length of the leash, and one ring at the end allowing you to use a carabiner to shorten or lengthen the leash.
PURCHASE OF CARABINER IS OPTIONAL, you do need one to connect to a waist belt, but you may provide your own climbing rated carabiner. Please make your selection accordingly!
FINISHED LENGTH
I aim for 5'-6" between the clip and the first ring, 3'-6" between each of the remaining rings for a total length of 16'. Due to the nature of the braided paracord, these will not be exact measurements and can be expected to stretch slightly over time as the leash is used. The 5-Ring Option has closer to 32" between each ring.
SIMILAR PRODUCTS
A Single Ring option (listed separately) provides a 1” Welded O-Ring only at the end of the leash, allowing you to use it as a drag line, use a carabiner (optional) to clip the line to a hands-free belt (sold separately), wrap around a tree, or fasten to a stake.
I also make these in a lighter weight system for smaller dogs - recommended for dogs under 25 lbs.
SAFETY DISCLAIMER
Never place fingers through the rings as a means of control, this can result in a serious injury! You may safely grip the OUTSIDE of the rings as a way to hold the leash, or use a "thumb lock" method.
HARNESS DISCLAIMER
Please only use a harness with this long line, collars add an additional risk of injury to a dog when jerked up short if reaching the end of the line or if the line catches on something while dog is active.

Meet the Maker
My 80 lb "critter chaser" is the highlight of my shop! Rowan supervises me while I work and together we test all the products to make sure that you have equipment that you can rely on so that you can enjoy your adventures worry-free and hands-free!
How it’s Made
I hand braid these using pre-shrunk 550 paracord that is made in the USA. Paracord is an extremely strong and durable material, weather-resistant and washable. The Diamond Braid allows for a fun “spiral” pattern in coordinating colors, while also providing a strong leash that is comfortable in your hands. This braid is easy to coil and control, allowing your dog to range up to 16 feet.

Contact me within: 10 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 14 days of delivery
Request a cancellation within: 2 hours of purchase for standard items.
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
- Custom orders
- Items on sale
Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Damaged Package?
Please document any package damage prior to opening your delivery, multiple photos including at least one showing the shipping label clearly will help me make a claim to USPS for damages. Please also take multiple photos of your product and clear images of any damage that it has sustained.
Shipping Time Estimates
Estimated shipping time frame does not typically include any extension for USPS delays that are in effect due to staffing shortages or weather related delays. If you need a product by a specific date please reach out prior to ordering and see what my current shipping and delivery times are to your region.
Where's My Package?
If your tracking says "Delivered" but it's not in your mailbox?
USPS frequently scans packages and marks them "delivered" up to 24 hours prior to physical delivery. Please be patient and remember that this is not within my control!

Care Instructions
Webbing Leashes: Hand wash in cool water with gentle dishwashing liquid, or Machine wash in leash wash bag or knotted pillow case, delicate cycle, cold. Hang to dry.

I can do customization on the majority of my existing leash products, please reach out with questions prior to ordering.
There will be an additional charge for a webbing or paracord color that I do not currently offer. I cannot guarantee color matching with your existing equipment but will do my best to find the closest option that I have available or that I can find with my suppliers.
If you do not see a product in my shop and are interested in something completely custom, please send me a message with as much detail as possible and I will let you know what I can do for you.
I do not offer personalization (i.e. pet names) on products at this time.
Sizing Details
Braided Paracord Leashes and Long Lines do have some initial stretch. I make them as close to the stated lengths as possible, but you can expect them to get slightly longer as they are used. If you need an exact finished measurement please reach out to discuss options prior to ordering
Webbing Leashes are measured "clip-end to clip-end" or "clip-end to leash-end" unless stated otherwise. I do my best to get as close to the stated length as possible but will err on the side of longer rather than shorter.
