This design spotlights our African diaspora royal purple fabric and our Carla pattern. The size is perfect as a market tote for carrying all the things you need for a day out. The Carla pattern features 24" straps that create the perfect drop to carry from the shoulder or the forearm. We use this pattern as an everyday catch all bag for busy on-the-go afternoons. This design also makes a great, unique and stylish gift for a special person.

Meet the Maker
We are Brianna and Maliah, and we make stuff. Bass Creations is a two-woman show, powered by unwavering family support. We are a mother-daughter team that has been sewing as a hobby for years. But, we have finally decided to venture out and turn our passion into a creative small business.
Our obsession with finding and collecting the most interesting, colorful and dynamic fabrics we can find is what inspires us to keep coming up with creative designs and one of a kind pieces. Being from a more confined corporate background, we appreciate the creativity and freedom of working in our studio and letting the creative juices flow.

How it’s Made
This creation started with looking for inspiration for fabric for women's day in March. The beautiful dipiction of the African diaspora inspired fabric fit well with our Carla market tote pattern. After pairing the fabric with the beautiful coral waterproof canvas lining we were able to get started on cutting out the pattern and construction.
