About this Product
Bernie's pot has a very sunny, warm look. I made this rug in 1990 with hand hooked wool strips on a burlap base. Its vivid warmth brightens up the room it is currently hanging in. Before we moved 4 years ago, this rug was just one more in a vast pile of completed rugs. It had not been hung or used. It measures 22 x 34. As with all my big hooked pieces, this was finished off with cording and tapestry yarn to give it a nice finished edge. It comes with a letter that covers how to care for the rug, and its value for insurance. Bernies pot is a Yankee Peddlar design.

Meet the Maker
I have always been attracted by colour and artistry, and enjoy working with fiber, paints, dyes and wool. I became a rug hooker in 1971, and for over 30 years it has been my occupation. As a certified instructor, I travel several times a year to teach this art. . and for it I dye wools, design and print patterns and hook as often as I can! Here will be finished items for sale, and eventually some dyed wools as well that are currently on Etsy. And perhaps a few other items as well!
