This super-squishy 100% hand-dyed merino wool is variegated with shades of yellows and silvery blues, with yellow and blue speckles. Part of my Collection of Misheard Song Lyrics, this is from the Manfred Mann song "Blinded by the Light", but I didn't name this colorway after the commonly misheard lyric. Probably some of you can guess what it is, though... Size: 231 yds/100 g per skein. One skein should be enough to make a decent-sized cowl, a hat, some smaller scarf or shawlette patterns, or a pair of mittens, although your mileage may vary. Care: Machine wash cool (ideally on a gentle cycle) or handwash in warm soapy water. Lay flat to dry. Dyeing Process: All my yarns are commercially-milled and hand-dyed by me in my tiny kitchen using acid dyes. Colors: I do my best to take accurate photographs, but colors may display differently than in real life, depending on the type and settings of the screen being used. Bleeding: I take great care in ensuring that my yarns are colorfast and that they are well-rinsed before shipping out, but it's possible to experience a little bit of bleeding during the first few washings as excess dye is rinsed out of the yarn. This can be influenced by the colors used (red and blue are common culprits) and by the hardness and temperature of your washing water. If the bleeding is excessive or persists after more than a few washings, let me know.
