Scarf Description: This scarf is hand crocheted with some of my favorite yarns. The scarf is a short neck scarf or short cowl with tassels that come from the top and tassels that come from the bottom. The scarf itself is 24 inches long around the neck and closes with a large coconut shell button in the shape of a flower. With the button secure, the scarf is 19 ½ inches to go around your neck. There is a lot of stretch, so this will fit most anyone. I have crocheted tassels at the top and bottom. The top tassels are about 4 inches and they flop over the top of the scarf. The bottom tassels are about 13 inches long, and hang down below the scarf. The top tassels do not add the look of extra width to the scarf, but the lower tassels do. The width of the scarf is about 6 ½ inches, with the lower tassels the total width looks to be about 19 ½ inches wide going down the front. The tassels on the scarf give it a bit of a Bohemian look. All the fringe has been hand knotted on the ends to prevent any unraveling.
The Yarns: I used some of my favorite yarns on this scarf. An orange, pink, and blue eyelash yarn. A brown yarn with yellow and orange though it. A grey and orange yarn. A brown fluffy yearn with a gold thread. A brown and gold eyelash yarn. A large fluffy thick cream yarn with green and blue splotches. A thick brown and orange yarn. A fluffy black, blue, and purple yarn. Orange, yellow, and blue eyelash yarn. And several more.
Washing Instructions: With the yarns used in this scarf, it is very important to hand wash only. Once you hand wash, roll the scarf into a towel and press to get out the excess water. Then lay flat to dry. Once the scarf is dried, if it needs a bit of fluffing, place in a cool dryer for about a minute or two with a dryer sheet.

Processing: This item is a finished product. My processing time takes 1-3 days based on USPS holidays and Sundays
Environment: This item was crafted in a smoke free and pet free home.
Packaging: My packaging for my crocheted items is that I place them in a food grade plastic bag and place them in a mailing envelope. If it is one of my larger items I will use a box. The plastic protects the item in shipping in case the envelope or box gets wet. Once you receive the hand crocheted item, shake it to fluff. The scarf could smell a bit like the plastic bag when you get it...a bit of time out of the bag and this smell should go away.
Color: Colors may very just a bit based on the difference in computer monitors.

And...yes, in the pic my readers do have the sticker showing the strength. I have them in different strengths throughout the house. I leave them on the readers so that if I pic up an older pair with a lower strength, I can look at the sticker and not think I am going blind!
In this picture I am making dainty little necklaces and hair bows for my granddaughter. I make my jewelry in the formal dining room. My husband said we should not have bought a house with a formal living and dining room, because we do not use them. Well, I am using them now!!! I have foil down on my table to protect it...and it forms to the table so it worked well, and rubber gloves on so I do not burn my fingers while making the bows! Just in case you were wondering...and, my mouth is open cuz I am talking.
And...When I mention in my listings that colors can vary by monitors...I spelled it very! Too many to change!
