Meet the Maker
Welcome! I'm Rebecca, a stay-at-home, work-from-home wife and mama behind Rebecca's Chic Boutique. I make handmade earrings and anything I can create from polymer clay in addition to many other wares. I make everything you see from start to finish! I've been making earrings for 2 years now and I love it. It all started after I broke my ankle in 2020 and had to cancel all of my cookie orders. I still needed a creative outlet because making things with my hands is who I am and I've been making a variety of things since I was a little girl.
Some fun facts: I’m a coffee drinker, a homeschool mom, a wife of 22 years, a sister, and friend. I live in the big ole state of Texas with my husband and our 5 kiddos. Family is very important to us and we enjoy our time together and our little side hustles help us cultivate that.

How it’s Made
All of my earrings start with fresh clay. Sometimes I sit down and design and other times while I am working an idea or design will come to me. I then condition the clay. Depending on the clay, I will either add a hole before baking to later attach the hardware or I will drill one after baking. After baking, I will either let them cool or give them an ice water shock. I then sand, smooth, and bathe each piece. After I dry them they are clean and ready to add resin or leave natural depending on the design, I then add hardware, let glued pieces cure and they are ready to wear!
