The Celtic Tree of Life Story
The Tree contains the 7 Celtic life forms: plant, insect, fish, reptiles, bird, beast, and man. The lower half represents the potential code for life that is passed from generation to generation. The top half reveals the current manifestation of that life.
This tapestry is 25" x 35" and is intended to be displayed as wall decor. To hang this item you will need to run a curtain rod of your choosing through the pocket on the back. Curtain rod not included.
• These tapestries are lined in the back. All the edges are neatly stitched. The top has a sturdy pocket for a hanging rod. The bottom is weighted so it will lay flat.
☙ About the Artist ❧
-Kevin Dyer. Céad Míle Fáilte!! That means 100,000 welcomes in Irish. I am a self-taught artist who has been blessed with a full-time art career dating back to the 1970s. I am originally from the west coast but have lived in Georgia since the ’70s. I have experimented with almost every medium you can think of but found my place in making cast paper in the early ‘90s. I love almost every culture of antiquity but found my roots in Celtic-style art. I find most of my inspiration today from Celtic culture, nature, and fantasy. I spend most of my days at home making art. My daughter, Logan, works with me full-time, and every day I pass more and more of the skills I have learned down to her.
