Meet the Maker

Hi all! I'm Amanda B, self-taught watercolor and mixed media artist. I usually paint pet and wild animal portraits, but I also self-indulge in chicken illustrations as well. This is on the account of 7 chickens in the backyard, and one old gal in the house. It's my niche, what can I say. Anywho~

I will be offering pet portrait commissions, as well as prints and small batch made stickers. I was finally able to invest in a personal cricut machine, so now I can offer stickers of my work! I also make an odd craft-type thing now and again, such as painted wood slices, as well as embroidery.

I work out of my childhood home and live with my mum, 8 chickies, 2 dogs, a parakeet, and an old cat with a major stink-eye stare. I also try to be a plant mum, but I kinda fail at that...

I want to thank all who stop by and check out my wares. I greatly appreciate every little looksie and hope to work with some of you one day!

How it’s Made

I print all the paper myself on about 30 lb paper. Printed on my Epson XP15000. Then I take the sheets and trim them roughly to size on my guillotine, and assemble the notepad into a 16-sheet pad. Using clips or my book press, I then glue the top edge several times to ensure they stay together for later tearing. Dried and sealed in a cellophane baggie (for now, trying to find some glassine baggies) ready for shipping.
