Copper Wire Wrapped Jasper Necklace Choker Style with Crystals and Copper Chain
Necklace Description:
This necklace is made by wire wrapping a jasper gemstone with crystals and fired hematite together to form an open half circle swirl for the base portion of this necklace. The wire is 18 gauge solid copper. This wire is then twisted and wrapped to form the base of the necklace. The focal for the necklace is the jasper gemstone in the shape of a flat square. The colors of this jasper gemstone are black and grey. The threading of the copper wire on this gemstone is on the diagonal, so the jasper has the shape of a diamond instead of a square. The wire wrapping makes a line of beads which include black faceted crystals, antiqued copper bead caps, large midnight blue crystals with a mirrored finish, and fired hematite gemstone beads. The midnight blue crystals shine in the colors of black, grey and blue. The fired hematite shines in the colors of grey, purple, blue, green, gold, and pink.
Along with these crystals and jasper gemstone there is additional twisted copper wire that swirls about the lower portion of beads. I created a loop of this copper wire over the jasper gemstone and into this loop I have wire wrapped some of the crystals, one of the hematite gemstone beads, and some grey agate gemstone beads. These give the necklace a bit of dangle. The entire wire wrapped portion of gemstone and crystals is attached to solid copper chain and closes with a handmade solid copper closure.
Earring Description:
The earrings are the fired hematite gemstone with antiqued copper bead caps on each end. Above this is a black crystal, then at the top an antiqued copper bead.
Measurements:
The jasper gemstone is 32mm by 32mm.
The black crystals are 6mm by 4mm.
The midnight blue crystals are 14mm by 10mm.
The hematite gemstone beads are 10mm round.
The grey agate gemstone beads are 8mm by 6mm.
The necklace is about 22 inches long and can be made shorter if needed.
The copper bead at the top of the earrings is 2mm
The total length of the earrings, including the copper ear wire is 1 ¾ inches.

Processing Time:
This item is a finished product. My processing time takes 1-2 days because I have a day job. I need the day job to support my yarn and bead habit. So, sometimes an order may come in while I am at the day job and would not be able to mail the same day.
Packaging:
My packaging for jewelry will include a cotton lined jewelry box. I do this because it adds more protection for the jewelry while it ships. It also makes a nice package for giving as a gift.

And...yes, in the pic my readers do have the sticker showing the strength. I have them in different strengths throughout the house. I leave them on the readers so that if I pic up an older pair with a lower strength, I can look at the sticker and not think I am going blind!
In this picture I am making dainty little necklaces and hair bows for my granddaughter. I make my jewelry in the formal dining room. My husband said we should not have bought a house with a formal living and dining room, because we do not use them. Well, I am using them now!!! I have foil down on my table to protect it...and it forms to the table so it worked well, and rubber gloves on so I do not burn my fingers while making the bows! Just in case you were wondering...and, my mouth is open cuz I am talking.
And...When I mention in my listings that colors can vary by monitors...I spelled it very! Too many to change!
