Mixed metals compliment each other and these earrings are a perfect example of just that!
I cut the crescent shape from a sheet of copper and textured it lightly, the silver wire is soldered on making a large hoop. I have applied a patina and buffed just enough off that the copper shows through. They are lightweight, yet make a big statement. The ear wire is sterling silver and permanently attached making them secure and one piece.
If you're looking for something different then look no further! When you pair them with your weekend outfit or dress up for a special occasion these are going to be your finishing touch.
They would make a great gift for your gift giving occasion, birthday, anniversary, wedding or just a sweet treat for yourself.
Total length is 53mm from top of ear wire to bottom.
They are stamped with artist initials (my own) on the back.
The copper has a beeswax coating to slow the natural patina down.

Meet the Maker
I am a one women show, creating the jewelry in my shop in my home studio, here in the great state of Wyoming. I make every piece that is listed.
I have been metalsmithing for 5 years, using traditional jewelry making techniques such as hammering, soldering, sawing, stamping, fold forming, etching and more. I do not limit myself to one style of jewelry and create according to what the materials inspire.
I work with sterling silver, copper, brass and bronze. I use high quality gemstones, found beach glass, river rocks/pebbles and natural leather cord.
I take great pride in my pieces and hope that is evident in the piece.
