Scarf Description: This shawl is one of the shorter shawls that is more like a triangle scarf. I have crocheted this shawl in a yarn that changes colors from gold to purple, to a lighter purple, to a pink, then to an orange, then to gold. I have also crocheted into the shawl an eyelash yarn that is in the colors of blue, gold, and violet. Eyelash yarn is the yarn that has strings that come from a center thread. Across the longest edge, the one that would go around your neck, I have attached a blonde wood button that would fit into one of the holes on the other side. You can wear the scarf around your neck once or twice. You can wear the button hole to the left or the right. On the two edges that form the point I have crocheted a design that goes into a bit of a ruffle.
Yarn: Acrylic yarn in the colors of gold, purple, pink, and orange.
Measurements: The longest edge of the scarf or shawl is 50 inches long. Two shorter sides that form the point of the shawl is 40 inches long. From the center neck back to the point is 25 ½ inches long. From the center of the wood button to the holes on the other side is about 42 inches.
Processing: This item is a finished product. My processing time takes 1-3 days based on USPS holidays and Sundays
Washing instructions: Hand wash in cool soapy water. Be sure your soap is a mild soap and you will only need to use just a little soap. Rinse, then lay the item in a towel and roll the towel with the scarf inside. Then press out the excess water. Then lay the scarf flat to dry. Once dry, if the scarf needs a bit of fluffing, you can place in a cool dryer for 1-2 minutes with a dryer sheet.
Environment: This item was crafted in a smoke free and pet free home.
Packaging: My packaging for my crocheted items is that I place them in a food grade plastic bag and place them in a mailing envelope. If it is one of my larger items I will use a box. The plastic protects the item in shipping in case the envelope or box gets wet. Once you receive the hand crocheted item, shake it to fluff. The scarf could smell a bit like the plastic bag when you get it...a bit of time out of the bag and this smell should go away.
Color: Colors may very just a bit based on the difference in computer monitors.

And...yes, in the pic my readers do have the sticker showing the strength. I have them in different strengths throughout the house. I leave them on the readers so that if I pic up an older pair with a lower strength, I can look at the sticker and not think I am going blind!
In this picture I am making dainty little necklaces and hair bows for my granddaughter. I make my jewelry in the formal dining room. My husband said we should not have bought a house with a formal living and dining room, because we do not use them. Well, I am using them now!!! I have foil down on my table to protect it...and it forms to the table so it worked well, and rubber gloves on so I do not burn my fingers while making the bows! Just in case you were wondering...and, my mouth is open cuz I am talking.
And...When I mention in my listings that colors can vary by monitors...I spelled it very! Too many to change!
