> You will only have to pick out 4 DIFFERENT FABRICS for the quilt top, one for the back and binding, select contrasting fabrics to create the circular optical illusion!
> I will share with you my method to cut your fabric quickly and accurately!
> A QUICK method to make 4 HST’s at a time without marking multiple lines! (I’ve tried them all, many resulting in “too small” HST” S) this “Sew Around” method will give you perfect HST’s every time! You will not have to sew any wobbly triangles!
Written according to the purple/blue version, I've included several “colorways” to inspire you and show you how you can totally change the look and "Story" of this quilt by changing the fabric!
4 double-column pages include a list of all the yardage you will need to complete this quilt along with hints and color diagrams to help the beginner and guide the expert through the adventure!
I recommend non directional fabric patterns with lots of contrast.
1 3/4 yards Purple print fabric for block pieces.
1 3/4 yards Blue print fabric for block pieces.
1-yard Cheetah fabric for Cheetah block center and inner borders.
1 1/4 yards Purple outer border fabric.
5/8 yard binding fabric.
Twin size Batting
4 yards backing fabric. Horizontal Seam
24 LARGE 175 ml /half gallon size Crown Royal Bags (I purchased my bags online).
4 1/2” Fussy Cut template (a transparent 4 1/2” template)
OPTIONAL-but is very helpful: rotary cutter, mat and quilters ruler.
