About this Product

Item listing is for a one of a kind, customized pet sign! I will require a photo of your pet (s) to start. From there, I will hand draw it and create a digital mock up, which I will then send to you for approval. If all is well, I will get down to the making of the product!

Please note, these kind of signs take awhile to make because of the lengthy process. Please accommodate 2-3 weeks for the process.

I do not advise putting these signs outside. While I do add a sealant to them, I feel like they work best inside for longevity.

Please reach out to me via messages or emails to further discuss. We will need to be in communication either way, if you are considering this product because of how involved it it. You can reach out to me at kristina@kristhecreative.com :) I only take a couple of these a month because of how time-involved they are.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE PRODUCT

  • Purchase includes one specialty sign (size will be discussed with customer as each sign and pet is unique)
  • Color: Various

JUST SOME FRIENDLY NOTES & REMINDERS BEFORE YOU MAKE A PURCHASE:

I'd like to point out colors and printed products will vary due to the differences between computer screens. It is often hard to photograph reflective surfaces, especially in these variances. My shop will not be held responsible for the color differences due to the different variables involved. I try to take photos in various locations to show how lighting affects the color.

Please feel free to send me an email if you have any other questions and I will try to help you the best that I can!

Thank you so much for your purchase and your support!

Welcome to my official shop! At least for the time being. I will be putting some products on here and rotating them throughout the seasons.

Meet the Maker

Hi everyone! My name is Kristina! I am an illustrator and maker who loves nothing more than to bring my designs and illustrations to life in various ways, such as laser cutting and engraving. All of the designs you see in this shop were drawn by hand, cut/engraved with one of my two lasers, photographed by me and shipped by me!

For my wood and acrylic work I use my OMTech CO2 laser and for my metal engraving I use my OMTech fiber laser. I also have dabbled in vinyl and sticker making as well. If you have any questions about lasers and/or are looking to purchase one, feel free to reach out to me! I am also an official OMTech affiliate.

For most of my supplies and materials, I try to purchase from small businesses within the laser community. I have even had the amazing opportunity of having some of my illustrations printed on custom acrylic!

When I am not making and trying to work on my shop or doing actual work things, I can be found hanging out with my goldendoodle pup Daisy or chilling with my two Axolotls, Popcorn and Pickles.

While I would love to eventually go all out with my shop, I do work various contract projects, freelance and have a part time job. I am always open to custom orders, so please feel free to message me if you have a custom project in mind, and feel my style may be a good fit!

Thank you!

How it’s Made

These signs are quite the process! I will need a photo(s) of your pets. From there, I will hand draw your pet. Once I do that, I will render a digital proof and show it for approval. If all is good, I will get to engraving and cutting.

I run a light engrave to start off, so I know where to paint. I then paint the sign, which often takes multiple days, because I have to do it in layers, wait for it to dry and all that. Once I am done painting, I will then add a clear coat to it and let it dry for a day. Once that is done, I pop it back in the machine and run it through as a darker engrave to clean up the lines from painting. Once that is done, I pop it out and clean up any debris.

Then I cut the topper off and assemble.
