What a stunning daffodil! The shimmery, white vellum petals make the red center just pop. The translucent goldish-yellow of the leaves keeps up with the sunny disposition of this daffodil.
This daffodil is made from vellum, handmade, and crepe paper, and the spathe is made of white floral tape. The stem can be bent/folded to fit your choice of vessel. All pieces are hand cut from a pattern designed by this shop.
The purchase is for one daffodil (the vessel is for display purposes only).
Measurements: 17" long and 2.5" wide

Meet the Maker
Hello. I love working with paper—all sorts. I especially love to manipulate product packaging paper. Seeing the graphics transform with each fold or cut is pretty interesting. I design all of my flowers. I study photos, diagrams, and sometimes the actual flower to create my design. One stencil can take days to develop, especially since I prefer to give them a unique style. I also create collages, paintings, origami/kirigami, repurposing/upcycling, and artwork from found items. My inspiration comes from packaging design, nature, architecture, broken metal things, thrift stores, and contrast.

SHIPPING: You have your choice of USPS Priority Mail or USPS First Class (with insurance). I ship only within the United States. Once the order is received, item(s) will be shipped the following business day, unless it is a custom order.

INSTRUCTIONS & CARE: Each individual item will arrive with a note concerning your new item. All plants and flowers are made from paper and should not be exposed to water. Some flowers are attached with wire and may be slightly adjustable, and others are attached to non-adjustable material. Although vellum looks and feels like plastic, it should never be exposed to liquids.
BATTERIES: Forest dioramas have built-in "fairy" lights that are battery-operated. Since there is no expiration date on the lights when I purchased them, there is no way to tell how long the batteries will last. Luckily they can be swapped out with fresh batteries. Therefore, an extra set of batteries is included with lighted dioramas. Please note that the lights may flicker slightly when handling the battery pack. It is subtle and does not continue when the diorama is stationary. This is due to the thin structure of the battery pack.
