About this Product
Dogwood trees always remind me of my grandmother, who loved to see them blooming at the beginning of Spring. Though they are small and unimposing most of the time, they make up for it with the enthusiasm they show in putting out hundreds of expressive flowers each year. In this painting, I wanted to capture the delicacy and joy of the first happy blooms reaching out to the warming sunshine.
This is an original, one-of-a-kind acrylic painting by me, from a photo of the dogwood trees near my home. It is painted on a 6" x 6" canvas board, and finished with varnish to keep it safe from fading due to UVA rays.
It will be shipped unframed and protectively wrapped in a padded envelope.
