Scarf Description: This shawl has been crocheted in more of a short shawl triangle scarf pattern that has a button up closure. The yarn is a soft thick fluffy yarn that is in the colors of tan, beige, and cream. Around the two edges that make the point of the shawl I have crocheted a nice fluffy ruffle. The closure is a button that is a light brown wood with a white designed around the edge. Within the darker brown color there is an additional brown color on the yarn can have a greenish brown look to it. You can see it in my pictures. When you look close (at one of my close up pics), it is actually a brown color.
Yarn: Acrylic yarn that is in the colors of tan, beige, and cream.
Measurements: The edge of the scarf that would go around the neck is 38 inches long. The two sides that form the point of the shawl are about 30 inches long. From the center neck edge to the point center edge of the ruffle in the back is 21 inches. From the center of the button to the hole you would use for the button hole is about 29 inches. The wood button is 2 inches in diameter.
Processing: This item is a finished product. My processing time takes 1-3 days based on USPS holidays and Sundays
Washing instructions: Hand wash in cool soapy water. Be sure your soap is a mild soap and you will only need to use just a little soap. Rinse, then lay the item in a towel and roll the towel with the scarf inside. Then press out the excess water. Then lay the scarf flat to dry. Once dry, if the scarf needs a bit of fluffing, you can place in a cool dryer for 1-2 minutes with a dryer sheet.
Environment: This item was crafted in a smoke free and pet free home.
Packaging: My packaging for my crocheted items is that I place them in a food grade plastic bag and place them in a mailing envelope. If it is one of my larger items I will use a box. The plastic protects the item in shipping in case the envelope or box gets wet. Once you receive the hand crocheted item, shake it to fluff. The scarf could smell a bit like the plastic bag when you get it...a bit of time out of the bag and this smell should go away.
Color: Colors may very just a bit based on the difference in computer monitors.

And...yes, in the pic my readers do have the sticker showing the strength. I have them in different strengths throughout the house. I leave them on the readers so that if I pic up an older pair with a lower strength, I can look at the sticker and not think I am going blind!
In this picture I am making dainty little necklaces and hair bows for my granddaughter. I make my jewelry in the formal dining room. My husband said we should not have bought a house with a formal living and dining room, because we do not use them. Well, I am using them now!!! I have foil down on my table to protect it...and it forms to the table so it worked well, and rubber gloves on so I do not burn my fingers while making the bows! Just in case you were wondering...and, my mouth is open cuz I am talking.
And...When I mention in my listings that colors can vary by monitors...I spelled it very! Too many to change!
