Love your home, but moving to a new one? Feeling nostalgic for a childhood home long sold?
Commission a beautiful watercolor and ink portrait of your house. I paint the house from a photo and/or Google Maps. I can also tailor the photo to your liking, adding elements which have been removed, changing colors, adding spring leaves to a winter photo, etc.
Turnaround time is a few days if you're the first in line, otherwise, I will let you know where you fall in the schedule. I book out in advance for Mother's Day and Christmas.
These also make wonderful housewarming gifts, going away gifts, wedding gifts, or gifts for real estate agents to give to buyers or sellers.
I can paint the house as small as one inch for a necklace, 2 inches for an ornament, or larger for art you can present in a frame of your choosing.
Necklaces and ornaments come packaged for gift-giving, necklaces include a matching chain. Larger artwork comes in a flat mailer. Keep away from water, and use a dry cloth when wiping frames.
I paint the old-fashioned way, with paint and paper. These are 100% drawn and painted by hand, no computer renderings. I can, however, send a high-quality picture of your painting if you want to use it to make post cards, address labels, new address announcements, greeting cards, etc. Just let me know when you order!
Your painting may be used for example images and portfolio showcase. If you would prefer that your painting not be used to model my style, please let me know.

Taryn Skipper has been painting for over 20 years and selling her art professionally for close to a decade. She works primarily in watercolor and in oils. She creates in all sizes, from miniature art set into wearable settings to large canvas pieces. She also enjoys reading, writing, travel and real estate, and trains in martial arts with her daughter.
