How RR started!

Hi! Thank you for visiting our shop! We are a family-owned business based in Central Kentucky.
Our team consists of my wife, two of my children, myself, and now a full working team of shop guys.

We started this dream back in 2016 after I was forced to work from home after almost cutting my thumb off from a saw at a remodeling job I had. However, once my thumb had healed completely, I returned to the contracting business and it wasn't until we moved to Kentucky in 2019 that we dove fully in. We thank the Lord for blessing our business and for growing it to the level that it's at now!

I have been actively involved in the building trade as a finish carpenter since 1994. I guess you can say that woodworking is in my blood. My Grandfather helped reconstruct the dance floor on the Belle of Louisville years ago. The Belle has been a commissioned steamboat since the late 1800s. And has been a town staple for all these years in Louisville, Ky. He worked at various lumber yards around Louisville and was a frame carpenter by trade. I have had the privilege of learning from some very talented carpenters. Woodworking has always been a passion of mine from the get-go. And lately, I've found myself really getting into the reclaimed wood movement. It is a joy to see something old reborn and given new life. There is nothing more satisfying to me than standing back after the completion of a project and admiring what I just created with my own two hands. I count it as a blessing and a joy to do this for a living and to have my family right alongside me.
