I grew up in a Native American home where my step-mom introduced me to the traditional Chickasaw collar necklace. She has been huge influence on me and has started my love for creation and beading. I started the Chickasaw collar when I was around 12 years old and have continued to learn and study different beading techniques through many different youtube videos, beading books, and earrings or items that have already been made. I enjoy challenging myself and figuring out how certain beaded earring or animals are woven together and seeing if I can duplicate or fix items people bring to me.
