Welcome to my shop, TheEclecticSewist. I've always loved beautiful fabrics, and using my creativity, which led me to learning how to sew many years ago. I'd not sewn in decades but since retiring a few years ago, I decided to pick it up again. I love how sewing opens up the opportunity for endless variety as what to make, hence the name TheEclecticSewist. I primarily would sew a variety of items for gifts for family and friends, but with the advent of ecommerce websites like Etsy, I decided to try also selling some of my sewn items. I especially enjoy sewing a variety of items for the home whether as a decorative piece or a functional item, such as placemats or a hanging cat bed. I also enjoy sewing items for personal use. I strive to use quality materials in all my products and skillfully-designed construction as these are always top priority for me.
