Hi. My name is Tomoka and I am the owner of Tomokaart. With a background in fine art, I enjoy exploring and experimenting with various art and craft mediums. My store here specializes in hand-carved block printed items and polymer clay creations.
When it comes to block printing, I start by sketching out designs, which I then transfer onto rubber blocks and carve out using some carving knives. You may know this as Lino print or Lino cut but I use rubber block instead of linoleum. Then I hand print each item one by one on fabric.
Now, my polymer clay creations, I like to do things a little differently. Instead of using regular pre colored polymer clay, I make mine with white clay and then add some color using gel paint after baking. This process creates an unparalleled paint effect that distinguishes my products from other polymer clay items on the market. Plus, I never use molds, ensuring each piece is one-of-a-kind.
