<p>I opened Bayou Glass Arts in 2010 but didnt really get serious until 2013 when I began working my jewelry full time. The "Tiffany" method of applying copper foil and solder is the process I use in making my jewelry. There is an industrial and organic sense to both the look and feel of my work. I use the highest quality metal sensitive friendly solder (no nickel, no lead). Brass and copper are my jewelry findings of choice and my packaging is thoughtful and secure to assure your purchases arrive safely.<br><br>Custom work is at the core. Creating unique mementos or keepsakes with a personal touch, not duplicated or manufactured. I enjoy knowing my customers and working with them to create the perfect gift for either themselves or others. This personal touch and making certain the experience is a pleasant one, this matters to me. </p><p>I believe in handmade. I buy handmade and vintage whenever I can and truly feel that by supporting one another we create our own micro-economy of better quality and entrepreneurship.</p> |

<p>Most orders will ship the next business day. If ordered before 11:00 a.m. Central time and if the item is in stock, orders will ship same day. Please see individual listings for details. </p>

<p><b>Care instructions</b></p>
<p>After wearing jewelry, wipe down with a soft cloth and place in a poly bag for storage. Do not wear in the shower or while swimming. Avoid spraying perfume or hand sanitizer as it can harm jewelry. </p>
<p><b>Is your work resin? Will my pendant turn yellow or change colors?</b></p>
<p>No, all of my quality glass jewelry will not dull, turn yellow or scratch like resin. </p>
<p><b>Can I order a custom chain?</b></p>
<p>I offer various lengths with each listing but if you prefer something custom, please contact me. Note that all of my Figaro chains are fully adjustable so that you may wear them as short as you like up to the longest length purchased.</p>
<p><b>Does your metal contain nickel or lead?</b></p>
<p>No. The mixed metal solder I use is eco and metal sensitive friendly. No nickel, zinc, cadmium or lead. The standard chain offered is plated brass and also metal sensitive friendly. </p>

<p><b>Packaging and Gift Wrap</b></p>
<p>Each of my packages are wrapped safely and thoughtfully.
Gift wrapping can be requested for a minimal fee during checkout. If you would like to have your order sent directly as a gift, I will be happy to add a note or sentiment on your behalf as well. Please contact me with your order number along with your personal message and I'll be happy to oblige. </p>
