About this Product

A colorful and funky hand knit cowl created from recycled wool and acrylic yarns in a crayola mosh pit of colors.

Chunky and warm, it's designed to pull over your head quickly and simply and fit close to the neck...no super long scarves to get tangled up in.

All my designs are original...with freeform crochet and knitting I add the colors and fibers as they speak to me. It's like painting with yarn. It's fun.

Ready to ship. Yay.

For as long as I can remember I have always been doing something creative. As a little girl I drew constantly and one of my most vivid memories is of my mother teaching me how to make my very first hand sewn stitches on to pieces of scrap fabric that she'd been saving for me since I was a toddler. My mom was an incredibly talented self~ taught seamstress and while I never quite got the hang of the sewing machine myself, in my early twenties I taught myself to knit and crochet (left handed and hilariously awkward at first) and from there there was no going back. This might sound a little out there, but I often feel my Mom`s presence when I'm working on a new project or design. She passed away when I was a teenager and I'd like to think that she'd be proud of me even if I never did figure out that sewing machine. Art has been such an outlet for me throughout my life and has helped me endure quite a handful of losses and trauma. I honestly don't know what I would do without my creativity.

Thank goodness for this colorful, creatively chaotic and trippy world I've made for myself.

I absolutely invite you to walk said world with me
