About this Product
This painting was originally conceived to be more abstract than my usual work. I wanted to not so much represent the actual look of the wide landscape I'd taken pictures of, as I wanted to create a specific mood. The silence, loneliness and distance were a contrast to the sharp light and warm colors around me. I used a limited amount of colors to convey a sense of sameness across to the horizon.
This is an original, one-of-a-kind acrylic painting by me, interpreted from a photo taken in Michigan. It is painted on stretched canvas measuring 10" x 20". The painting continues around the edges of the stretchers to allow for it to be framed or not, depending on your preference. It is also finished with varnish to keep it safe from fading due to UVA rays.
It will be shipped unframed in a cardboard box, and carefully protected with bubble wrap.
Please feel free to contact me if you have a subject you'd like me to paint. I'm always happy to work on custom orders!

Meet the Maker
I have been making art of some sort ever since I was born, I think. I decided at 5 years old that I was going to be a full-time artist. Now I'm fulfilling that dream, and you can reap the fruits of my labors!
