Lucy is a custom-designed kisslock saddlebag that exudes retro charm, complete with cork leather that adds a uniquely beautiful vintage vibe. This bespoke bag features an antique brushed bronze kisslock closure, topstitching details along the rounded gusset, and multiple slip pockets within its roomy interior. There is also an adjustable strap with buckle providing for versatility of use as a crossbody or shoulder bag. Each piece is carefully crafted by hand in my home studio, ensuring a unique and individual touch.

Meet the Maker
I am a one-woman small business and member of the Craftsmen's Guild of Mississippi in leather work, specializing in eco-friendly cork and cactus leathers. These incredible leather alternatives are sustainable, durable and water-resistant.
Inspired by vintage bags, my Blue Dog Avenue line offers a contemporary take on classic designs. Every bag is handcrafted solely by me from start to finish, including the creation and designing of my patterns. All of the materials are carefully cut by hand and then individually sewn in my home studio, giving the utmost attention to each and every detail.
In my design process, I strive for a perfect balance between aesthetic appeal and functional performance. I view my pieces as much more than mere bags or accessories but rather an intersection of art and design. To me, each piece is a wearable work of art and is crafted by hand with the care it deserves.
How it’s Made
I handcraft every bag from start to finish, beginning with the creation and design of my patterns, which reflect my passion for vintage bags. Next all of the materials are carefully selected and cut by hand. Each piece is then individually sewn in my home studio using professional techniques and equipment giving the utmost attention to every detail. I take great pride in creating wearable works of art that are made to be stylish, durable and can be cherished for years to come.

Return Policy
I gladly accept returns, with the exception of custom orders. Please contact me within 3 days of delivery for all returns. Items must be shipped back within 7 days of delivery. Return shipping cost is the responsibility of the buyer. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Care Instructions
Both cork and cactus leather can easily be cleaned with a gentle cloth, a little liquid soap (such as Dawn) and water. Alternatively, an alcohol-free baby wipe can also be used.
