Custom personalized memory keepsake dog is a wonderful way to remember a special person or an event. Why not turn a shirt folded in a box or hanging in a closet into an adorable, huggable stuffed animal that you can display and hold close to your heart? It will make a wonderful, meaningful gift for you, your family or friends.
The animals are approximately 12" sitting, 17-18" standing.
I can use almost any piece of clothing to sew a dog for you. No furs, very thick terry robes, or thick denim, please. An adult size garment with long sleeves (dresses can be sleeveless) is enough for one animal. I can combine several pieces if you would like; for example, you can add a tie to a shirt, or a scarf to a sweater or blouse, or just send a couple of sweaters. If you will be sending children's clothes, please contact me and I will tell you how many pieces I will need (for example, 4-6 onesies depending on the size). Keep in mind that large logos or designs will not fit in one piece.
If you tell me a little bit about a person whose clothes you’ll be sending I can try and personalize the dog even further by adding a charm, an HTV design or some other detail that will reflect the person’s likes, hobbies, etc. This additional personalization is a thank you gift from me.

Here are some Frequently Asked Questions:
Q. How does it work?
A. After you purchase an item, I will send you a message with the address to ship your clothes to and I'll let you know when the clothes arrive. If you have additional questions or instructions or want to change options, please let me know at that point, before I start working on it. No changes can be made after that.
From then it will take 2-3 weeks for you to receive your order (US orders). The time will depend on how many orders I have in.
Your dog will be sent in a beautiful organza bag ready to be given as a gift.
Q. Is your house pet and smoke-free?
A. Smoke free and cat friendly. I use lint roller on all the memory animals before packing them.
Q. Will you wash the clothes you receive?
A. No, all clothes will be used in the condition they are shipped to me. If I need to reinforce the stretchy, thin, see-through fabric, I will iron the items. Please do not spray garments with perfume or Fabreeze before sending them to me.
Q. Will you only use the clothes you receive from me or will other materials be used?
A. I may supplement what you send to me with new fabric: suede for moose's hooves and dog’s nose, for example.
Q. Is it safe for small children?
A. Memory plushies aren't toys. I use safety eyes and noses, however the joints are made with large buttons that can be ripped off by a child. If you think the dog might be handled by little kids, please, let me know. I will use hidden joints to connect arms/legs. I also don’t recommend eyelashes if the stuffy will be played with.
Q. I have my late mother's sweater. Can you enclose her ashes in the dog?
A. If you wish to put ashes inside, please let me know and I will create a Velcro pocket in the back seam of the body so you can do it yourself.
Because of the custom nature of the order, I will not accept returns. However, if you have an issue with the items you received, please let me know. I will work with you to resolve the issue

Meet the Maker
I started sewing when I was 10, first with my Grandmother, then in school. My first stuffed animal, a little monkey still keeps watch over me from a shelf in my sewing room.
The animals I sew now are very different from just ordinary stuffies. They hold the memories and touches of the people dear to you, the clothes you send me are treated with care and respect, and an understanding that they are precious and irreplaceable. I'm very happy and touched when my customers tell me that the bears they receive from my shop help them in their difficult time of loss.
Why Moose? I feel that Moose has become my spirit animal in the last several years. My collection of moose is growing very fast.
Shop Policies
Processing time for memory animals is 2-3 weeks AFTER I receive your clothes. Please wash the clothes before sending, and PLEASE do not use any additional fabric fresheners or perfume - you can always spray the animal with perfume later. I'm very sensitive to smells and it makes my physically sick if I have to work with very fragrant clothes. Dirty clothes with BO will be sent back at your expense and the order will be canceled. Stains are perfectly fine, just let me know if you want me to avoid them or incorporate them into the animal. I do not accept returns on the memory animals but if there's an issue I will be happy to work with you to resolve it.
Processing time for kid drawing plushies is 10 days.
Once the items are shipped it is out of my hands if USPS takes longer than expected. Please, order ahead of time so you can get your items when you need them. Last minute orders might be stuck in transit and are not subject to returns.
