These nature magnets are handmade, very strong and inspired by the beauty of nature!
Our nature magnets are perfect to give at a housewarming, birthday or holiday gathering and make especially great stocking stuffers! Three sets available: sea life, flyers and blooms. Sea life includes a sea turtle, octopus and clam shell. Flyers include a dragonfly, butterfly and swallows. Blooms include 3 flower inspired designs.
Nature magnets are made from polymer clay and a strong ceramic magnet (.50 - .75 inch in diameter). Strong enough to hold up pictures, notes, menus etc. on any magnetic surface.

Meet the Maker
I embraced life as a full-time artist a few years ago, and I feel extremely grateful to be able to live with my creativity leading the way. Even though my art is always changing and evolving, the one constant is the source of inspiration. My inspiration is the natural world, and my hope is to help others feel a stronger connection to nature. Combining my experience as a former wildlife biologist with my passion for different mediums, please enjoy these heart-infused offerings. Currently my creative focus is dried flower arrangements. I grow and dry most of my own flowers, my garden being my happy place. Custom orders are accepted. My art is how I make my living, and words cannot express my appreciation for your purchase. However, I will try. Thank you!
How it’s Made
Nature magnets are made from polymer clay and silicone molds, then a strong ceramic magnet (.50 - .75 inch in diameter) is attached.
Here is a little background on my experience with clay:
I started making pottery in high school, in the late 80’s, and quickly realized that I loved hand building. I made many coil, slab and combo pieces that my family and I still have. For many years I didn’t make pottery, mainly because I was a single mom and didn’t have the time, but always missed it. Then while vending at a local market in 2010, I started using my town’s craft center to make pieces again, mainly mortars and pestles and vases. Some pieces also became homes for succulents! So, now that I live in the country and don’t have a kiln set up, I decided to start using polymer clay because I can make things at home. I love making little things and all the beautiful colors that are available!
