Meet the Maker
Greetings! My name is Candis and my wonderful husband and I are the makers of our items in Crafts By Candis. A couple of years ago, I started making crafts with wine bottles. The first one was just a paint it, hang a Christmas sled on it, add a topper and voila - done! Then it progressed into making other kinds of decorative Christmas bottles and then beach themed bottles. In addition to giving new life to empty bottles, we now make our own wooden sleds to adorn the bottles with and laser engraved coasters. Coming soon will be laser engraved wooden clocks and whimsical wooden flip flops.
A little about us ~ For the past few years we have been empty nesters and we currently full time in our RV. We have 2 sons and one grandson! It's minimal living and gives us so much time to visit family, enjoy the outdoors, go golfing, watch lots of sports and make our crafts together. Just recently we became the proud parents of 10 acres of Nature Paradise - raw land! So eventually we will be back in a house that we are building ourselves. Lots of work but it's so rewarding!
I come from a Sales & Marketing background and have dabbled in some different markets - first with hotels, then RV's and lastly self storage properties. I have recently found my dream job (working where my husband works) as an administrative assistant - absolutely love the job, the company and the co-workers, not to mention the additional time I get to spend with the hubs.

How it’s Made
I took and empty wine bottle and painted the upper half with acrylic paint mixed with a little baking soda to give it a rough texture. the bottom half has material covering all the way around, with white glass beads painted to look like buttons. The bunny ears are made from cardboard, covered with fabric, trimmed with cotton and little flowers added to the top. The "hair" is crafting cord that I untwisted from one single strand down to three to give more fullness. The whiskers are another crafting cord clipping and are secured under the wooden bead for the nose. Her little feet are made from cardboard, cotton and fabric with a little flower added on top.

RETURN POLICY: Please contact us within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. For returnable items, they must be returned, at the buyers shipping expense, within 30 days of delivery. Customized and/or personalized items are non-refundable. Exchanges are not available on items.
For items that are broken upon delivery (broken by no fault of the buyer) the buyer may be eligible for a full refund. Photos of the packaging and item(s) will be required within 7 days of delivery.
