Americana primitive star shelf sitter. This is from one of my favorite pattern designers "Tennessee Ridge Primitives". The star is cut from muslin, sewn up stuffed and painted to look like a flag. I used country shades of blue,cream and red. Then it is given that old aged look. There are rusted bells attached to each star point. There is a small crow attached at the bottom of the tar with a cheesecloth tie around it, along with a primitive tag "1776' The star sits upon an old bobbin.
This piece measures approximately 17" high and 12" across its widest section.
