works well as a wall-hanging, as a child’s size throw, or add extra
rows for a Beach House throw to cuddle up on the couch. The pattern stays adorable no matter how big you make it!
Please use FLANNEL FABRIC ONLY FOR THIS ITSSEWSALLY PATTERN & SHREDDING TECHNIQUE! Regular cotton fabrics are too lightweight & Knits like Minky or fleece are slippery, will not “shred” and they will not work with” itssewsally shredded style” quilt patterns!

You will find this 13 page PDF pattern/TUTORIAL crammed full of useful information, hints, & tips along with lots of close-up photos, diagrams, and a full-size applique template includedto help the beginner and guide the expert. This new "shredded" quilting technique is FUN!

No fussy seam allowances, ½ inch throughout! (Leave that “scant” ¼” behind for this quilt)!
No critical alignment or stitching of the appliques! Close is ok, you’re going to clip and shred them!

A little “wonky” might even help this “shabby chic’ish” quilt, it was created to have a soft and relaxed finished look. (And to answer that question, NO, we do not sew strips of fabric in a circle, it's SO much easier than that!!
