FOR FLANNEL FABRICS ONLY, this Shredded Style quilt will be too lightweight with regular cotton fabric, and fleece or “Minky” it is slippery and will not shred!
I WILL TEACH YOU HOW TO MAKE THIS SHREDDED STYLE QUILT! This itssewsally "Shredded Style" quilt is pieced, quilted, and backed ONE SQUARE AT A TIME then simply joined into the final adorable Quilt! I teach you the basics but it an easy quilt to grow to any size!
This was my very first, very scrappy “shredded style” pattern originally published in 2013. You will find this 9 page, double column PDF pattern/TUTORIAL full of useful information, hints, and tips to help the beginner and guide the expert, along with LOTS OF close-up photos, diagrams, and 2 full-size applique templates included.

No fussy seam allowances, ½ inch throughout! (Leave that “scant” ¼” behind for this quilt)!
Need to keep your hands busy? It's a good take-along project!
No Constant ironing! (You could make this quilt if you didn't own an iron)!
No critical alignment or fussy applique stitching! Close is ok, you’re going to clip and shred them!
Shredding is a huge stress buster, there is something therapeutic about shredding a quilt!
A little “wonky” might even help this “shabby chic’ish” quilt, it was created to have a soft and relaxed finished look.
