Welcome to Blooming Elephant Boutique! 

Hi, My name is Luann and I am the owner of Blooming Elephant Boutique. 

I had wanted to be a toy maker since I was a child, I think it stemmed from a Christmas video I watched every year as a child. Being the "First toy maker to the King" sounded pretty cool. Now that my kids are grown and my grand kids are out of the baby stages I have the time to spend turning ideas into reality.

Going into the Department stores these days you see so much plastic in the toys. I keep thinking this cannot be good for our kids. We need to get back to fibers. Cloth dolls and stuffed animals. It feels so much better holding and hugging cloth then plastic. I realized that I can help bring more opportunities for everyone to have cloth toy options. Which is why Blooming Elephant formed in 1994 starting in street fairs in Fall City, WA.

Over the years I have worked with fiber making dolls and quilts, I spent a few years working with wire making bubble wands, I have ventured off into painting and have found joy in painting meditation stones, I have worked with beeswax making candles to help in mediation. I have found joy in making fairies, angels and gnomes, monster's, teddy bears. 

My current product line really has something for everyone. 

My dolls bring joy to all ages. I have found that they bring smiles to our Senior citizens as well as kids loving to pretend play.

My manifesting products can be used to aid in manifesting and meditation; 

Manifesting is bringing something tangle into your life through attraction and belief. If you focus your intentions, think it,  believe it, it will come. 

Meditation can be a technique such as mindfulness, or focusing the mind on a particular thought and object to train attention and awareness and achieve mental clarity; a mentally clear, emotionally calm and stable state.

Gnomes, and Angels are a big part of many households, whether you are looking the good luck that Gnomes represent or you are looking for that Angel to watch over you I know you will find something that speaks to you at Blooming Elephant.

You may be asking yourself,  why Blooming Elephant Boutique for your shop name? 

There is a story behind the name. My son grew up drawing, and as I struggled to find a name for my business that really spoke to me, I decided to ask my son to draw me a logo. I thought I could decide on a name based off of what he drew. I told him it could be anything, I named off a few things that I like and he came up with this elephant that had flowers coming from it's head. I loved it instantly! It's a Blooming Elephant! I knew then that my business name was Blooming Elephant. And with the mixture of items that I have evolved over time in making, I decided my shop is really a boutique of gifts so here we are at Blooming Elephant Boutique.  

My Mission and Vision for Blooming Elephant is to create and provide safe, fun, loved toys that inspire growth , imagination and play for all ages & to create products that help you move towards  what you desire in your life.

My Goal with Blooming Elephant Boutique is to provide you with an excellent product and service while gaining your trust; pursuing my own personal growth in moving towards my family's financial freedom, while doing what I love for others.
