A Handmade Vegan Red Lipstick that makes a bold statement. Packed with high-performance lip-friendly ingredients. Color pigments are blended to give a confident lush appearance. Made with all plant-based ingredients such as Illipe Butter, Jojoba Oil, Babassu Oil, Castor Oil, Vitamin E, Plant Pigments; Iron Oxide, and Mica.
Illipe butter is a vegetable fat derived from the nut of the Shorea tree, which is from the jungles of Southeast Asia. Illipe butter has long-lasting moisturizing properties and is used widely for skin-softening quality. Illipe Butter has been used for centuries to moisturize and restore skin vitality and elasticity.
Babassu oil is a clear, light yellow vegetable oil that is solid at room temperature. It comes from the fatty seeds of the babassu palm, a tree in the Amazon rainforest. Studies demonstrate that babassu oil has anti-inflammatory properties. Babassu oil has a high content of lauric acid, which is reported to have anti-microbial activity. It is a wonderful addition to any product designed for skin nourishment.
Jojoba Oil is a fantastic moisturizer since its structure is very similar to the skin’s sebum. It is great for products designed to protect the skin from the elements since it creates a very light layer of film on the skin which will help prevent transepidermal water loss.
Vitamin E, Essential Oil, and approved coloring complete this beautiful lipstick.

Green Leaf Suds is a woman-owned and operated business created in New York, USA with sustainability in mind. My name is Syntra I am the founder of Green Leaf Suds. I grew up living on a sunny Caribbean island, where everything was lush and green. My grandparents came to this island from India, they were vegan and live an Organic Ayurvedic lifestyle, using ingredients from nature they created almost everything that sustains their existence, nothing was wasted, and nothing was destroyed. I was inspired to use this knowledge passed down to me, using organic plant products such as; oils, leaves, butter, and roots to create products that embrace the eco-friendly, minimalism, vegan lifestyle. I am also an Organic Skincare Formulator by profession.
With the evolving demand for vegan and natural skincare, I believe that having formal training is necessary to understand the nature, sustainability, and process of creating natural products using the plethora of plant-based ingredients available to us in our ecosystem.
