CONSTRUCTION AND MATERIALS:
Crafted with precision and care, each piece is created by laser-cutting, hand painting, and affixing each design shape from birch plywood.
We have mastered using our own secret watercolor technique to emphasize and highlight the wood grain of each individual piece. The colors and grain of the wood vary from one piece to the next, making each artwork one-of-a-kind!
We attach each design cutout piece to a plywood backing with industrial adhesives for long-term durability, and then seal it with a topcoat to protect against minor scratches and dings.

At our workshop and studio, we craft each order by hand with care and attention to detail. We take our time to ensure that we create the highest quality piece for you, which typically takes 5-7 BUSINESS DAYS from the time we receive your order.
We will make sure your order is carefully packaged and shipped to you using either UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail, whichever is best for your address, so that it arrives in perfect condition!

We just wanted cool stuff for our new house
We are a small, family-run business located in Noblesville, Indiana. We design and craft vintage inspired wall art, home furnishings, and custom, repurposed furniture.
In 2015, we went to a local auction in search of a few cool furniture pieces to repurpose for our new home. We found some...and then more, then even more. Repurposing and restoring those pieces awakened a passion which us that neither one of us knew we had.
After attending hundreds of auctions across the Midwest, and creating just as many repurposed furniture and custom-made art pieces, we made the decision to create a small, side business to break up the stress from our 'real jobs.' Starting small and slowly, we started marketing and selling our pieces on social media and various online sites before opening a storefront in a local boutique shop.
In March 2020, due to Covid, Chris was let go from his job. Faced with having to make a living we decide to open an Etsy Shop. Just six months later we are still going strong and it has now become something that neither of us ever imagine. We are so grateful for all the people that have supported our shop. It is truly an honor to have our work hanging in peoples homes across the United States.
What started out as a fun adventure and side-job has now become a full time career and obsession for both of us.
How it’s Made
This unique piece is created by laser cutting each design shape from a 1/4” piece of birch plywood and then hand painting each piece using a unique watercolor technique which highlights the grain in the wood. Hand painting each order in this way ensures each piece a one-of-a-kind piece of art that you could never find in mass-produced artwork in a store! Then, the pieces are affixed to another 1/4” backing piece using industrial adhesives to ensure longevity. Finally, it is sealed with a topcoat to provide protection from small scratches and scuffs.

Because each piece of wall art is hand made and hand painted by our artists at Vintage Adventures and the natural variations in wood products, each piece is unique and may vary slightly from the pictures in the listing. If you have any questions regarding the color or finishes we use, please don't hesitate to ask.
Your piece will be professionally packaged and shipped to you. Production and shipping times may vary due to any customizations requested by purchaser.
