Here is an easy solution to the problem of what to buy your favorite teacher! Dress up a bottle of wine with a Sailcloth Wine Tote!
We fabricate them here in our shop with Dacron sailcloth. The handle is made with soft 3 strand nylon line tied into grommets. The apple design is cut from red insignia cloth, the same fabric used for insignias and numbers on sails. The shape is cylindrical, that is, the bottom is round, just like a wine or liquor bottle.
Made in the USA on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, by hand in our shop, Mainland Canvas.
Dimensions: 13.5 inches tall by 5 inch diameter circle.
Unfortunately, we can't include the wine, but whatever you put in the bag will be well received by the teacher!

Meet the Maker
The Mississippi Gulf Coast is my home and where I own a marine canvas shop. We fabricate canvas items (covers, tops, cushions, etc.) for boats. Our slow season is in the winter. To keep everybody busy and working during this time, we sew fun stuff! (I call it recreational sewing.) We make floating pillows and bags using left-over scraps from jobs and our favorite fabrics and colors…and you don't have to own a boat to enjoy them!
I learned to sail on a lake in Oklahoma, and eventually sailed a small boat to St. Thomas in the Virgin Island where I worked for a sailmaker. I returned to the Mississippi Gulf Coast to open my own business. I am proud to say I earned the Master Fabric Craftsman (MFC) Professional Certification from the Industrial Fabric Association International.
My husband, Jessie, and I live aboard our 38’ trawler, and when we can, cruise the Gulf Coast and rivers.
