About this Product
These beautiful handmade coasters feature a deep blue leather with star cutouts revealing the red pig suede center, which is then backed with the same deep blue leather. Each coaster is stitched using white thread and a lightly finished edge. The deep blue leather feels both soft and smooth to the touch, and while the leather is not floppy nor hard, the leather is just flexible enough to feel amazing.
The deep blue leather uses a unique wax process, that as the coaster is used a unique vintage look appears. This leather does not look flawed, but worn in and unique. The more you use these the more unique they become.
The coasters are in a set of four and each measure 3-1/2"x3-1/2". Each one has a unique pattern for the five star cutouts, so no two are ever the same.
This set looks amazing with a wide variety of decor for everyday use or an amazing Fourth of July holiday decor. You may just keep them out all year!
Coaster care: Feel free to occasionally oil these with mink oil, or use a leather conditioner. If hot mugs are used on these coasters, you may notice some of the wax moving to form a ring on the coaster. Simply rub it back in! Enjoy!

I have been an artist my entire life, but when I combined my love of art with my Construction Science education, I discovered I excel in working with leather. I create many of my own patterns, but can envision the finished product easily. This allows me to create well made goods that are exactly what my clients need. So not only do I have many high quality leather goods for you to choose from, but if you need a custom item, I can do that also!

Each item is handmade with quality leather and craftsmanship. The leather used may contain blemishes and scars which I believe add to the look of the finished item and are not considered a flaw.
