Meet the Maker
Welcome to my shop of handmade jewelry, gifts, arts and crafts by Cynthia.
My journey into jewelry making started when I grew up on Alaskan Islands. My grandfather liked to rockhound and make jewelry as a hobby. He took me on many rock hounding trips.
Wherever I would go, my favorite memento would be a rock or something from nature. I continue to go on rock hounding trips. Many of the items I make are from items I found on my rock hounding trips.
Art has always been a part of me and my bliss as well. The weather in Alaska meant we spent many hours inside doing all kinds of crafts and art. I've taken many classes in a variety of arts, (painting, drawing, ceramics, art history, as well as geology, meteorology, and oceanography). During the years I also joined fiber arts groups and beading groups. Learning about all the different arts, crafts, nature, gardening and herbs is something I continue to enjoy.
Fine silver is the metal I choose to work mostly in. Fine silver doesn't tarnish as easily as sterling silver and for most people it is non-allergenic. Pure fine silver isn't made with copper, nickel or other metals. Most of my dainty handmade chains are made in .925 sterling silver as a delicate looking chain made with fine silver is not as durable. For your safety, I do not solder or fuse the chain's connecting jump rings to the clasps.
Making handmade items is always a joy for me, especially when I see the delight others get from my creations. I hope you will get joy from the items I make as well.
How it’s Made
After choosing the closest matching genuine Tourmalineteardrop briolette gemstones, I wire wrapped them with .999 fine silver. Next I chose matching tourmaline nugget beads with a hematite bead in between them connected with .999 fine silver wire. Then I made .999 fine silver ear wires to hang the dangle and teardrops from to create these October birthstone-colored earrings
I choose to work mostly in fine silver as it doesn't tarnish as easily as sterling silver and for its non-allergenic properties. Most people are not allergic to fine silver as it isn't made with copper or nickel.
These earrings are packaged in an organza bag with a Pro-Polish Pad, Anti-Tarnish Tab, and a small gift.
Shop Policies
Jewelry: The jewelry I offer is designed and hand-crafted by me. Most items are one-of-a-kind pieces. In the description, you will find, as accurate as possible, the stone(s), metal(s), and material(s) used in creating the piece, as well as all the other pertinent details: necklace lengths, clasps used, bracelet sizes, ring sizes, earring lengths, post or wire, etc… Please read the description thoroughly – making sure it is what you are looking for, and make sure your measurements are accurate. If you have any questions, be sure to ask them before placing your order. Pieces may not be returned due to being the wrong size, the wrong length, or buyer’s remorse.
Packaging: Included with every jewelry purchase is a gift bag or gift box with an invoice. Pro-Polish Pad and a tarnish tab are provided to care for your jewelry. Items will be sent in a padded envelope of appropriate size and packaging material to protect the items.
Returns: Please contact me if you have any issues with your purchase. I will accept returns if you contact me within 5 days of delivery. Your purchase can be returned for 7 days after shipped for a full refund minus shipping costs.
- Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. Item(s) must be returned in their original condition and in original packaging. Tracking is recommended.
- Refunds will be issued after I receive your return.
- Custom orders cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Items I ship, which are lost in the mail, will be replaced after we both have exhausted all avenues to try and find where it went. I ship with delivery confirmation and tracking.
If there is a problem with your purchase, as each item is individually made and often are unique pieces, I can only replace with as close a match as possible of an equivalent item or a refund.
Payment: Credit card payments through Stripe or PayPal are accepted. Neither Goimagine nor CC-ArtBliss have access to this information.
Shipping: Your order will be shipped 1 to 3 business days after your payment has cleared. At present, we only ship products to the United States. Packages will be shipped via United States Postal Service (USPS) First Class Package Service or Priority Mail Service – depending on the package weight and size.
Shipping Confirmation and Tracking: You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s).
- First Class Package Service delivery time is usually 4 to 6 business days.
- Priority Mail Service delivery time is usually 3 to 5 business days.
Delivery times my vary slightly - depending on the delivery location relative to the shipping location, USPS staffing levels, weather conditions, and any possible disturbances / unrest due to the current economic and political climate. These are only estimates. The USPS does not guarantee delivery times, nor can we.
Packages will be shipped to the address listed in your Goimagine account. Please make sure your account has the correct shipping address. If it is returned as undeliverable after being shipped, I cannot refund the shipping costs.
Privacy FAQs: I will only use your shipping, billing and contact information to communicate with you about your order, to fulfill your order and if necessary for legal reasons (like paying taxes).

Notice – Items in this shop are not intended for use by children under the age of 10. If children are wearing jewelry, it should be under strict supervision. Small beads and gems are used in my jewelry.
Crystals should not be left in direct sun, especially near flammable items as they can start a fire. Many natural earth mined and man-made crystals fade in the sun as well.
