Bella Road Boutique Renew accessories are lovingly created using a combination of techniques and materials to ultimately result in what I believe is a beautiful marriage of old and new; something from nothing. I gather new materials that catch my eye along with the old - you know, those things we deem useless... the lonely button; the tattered once-loved lace; yarn from the knitting project long-since abandoned.... and I attempt to make them into something beautiful. Due to the nature of the materials used, no two Renew items will be exactly the same.
This particular listing features one of our Renew fabric flower brooches. Layers of muslin were hand-torn, tied and shaped to create petals. Crisp white netting was nestled into the muslin and a whimsical polka-dot cream lace added to the center; a brooch pin attached to the back finished the piece. This is absolutely stunning on a cute denim cap; a pastel or neutral-colored winter hat, or a scarf! It would also be adorable attached to a purse, canvas bag or diaper bag! Think beyond the box with a brooch. :)
