Thanks for stopping by!  You can also visit my website for New Earth Designs and Lib Callaway patterns. . .there are over 500 to choose from!  i'm looking forward to 2023. . in April i'm teaching at MD Shores again. . a wonderful ocean front event.  Contact Pam at lpt219@comcast.netAlso there is the ATHA 1 rug school in Sturbridge, MA. . uhookrugs@yahoo.com is the contact email. For  over 50 years, I have been immersed in all facets of traditional rug hooking. . . ..from dyeing to teaching; designing patterns and colour planning them.  From my own  dye formulas, I dye yards over  neutrals, pastels, and textures. . .thus creating hundreds of variations.  Spot dyeing is another specialty, and I routinely keep 200 different ones on hand.  All hooked items are made by hand hooking  strips of  my hand dyed wool that I've chosen for the piece.  Once i choose a  Lib or  New Earth design,  I print it on to a backing, usually linen.  The older ones I've made are on burlap, as that was commonly used until the late 1980's.  The rugs are finished off with wool yarn whipped over cording, and binding tape applied to the back.I first learned to hook in 1971, became a certified teacher in 1979, and have been "on the road"  teaching since 1989.  Hope to meet you soon at a rug school!
