About this Product
Listing is for my latest hat, hand knit from a blend of chunky wool and acrylic fibers.
It has a bit of stretch and is designed to fit most adults and teens.
With freeform knitting, I never follow patterns. I allow the colors and fibers to "speak" to me as I go, and paint themselves through my hands.
Ready to ship. One of a kind. Makes an awesome, unique gift for someone funky in your life.
MEASUREMENTS:
Laid flat, hat measures approximately 8 1/2 inches from rolled brim to top of hat.
Circumference stretches from approximately 23 inches to about 24 inches around.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Hand wash with a mild soap in lukewarm water, rinse, gently squeeze excess water and lay flat to dry.

For as long as I can remember I have always been doing something creative. As a little girl I drew constantly and one of my most vivid memories is of my mother teaching me how to make my very first hand sewn stitches on to pieces of scrap fabric that she'd been saving for me since I was a toddler. My mom was an incredibly talented self~ taught seamstress and while I never quite got the hang of the sewing machine myself, in my early twenties I taught myself to knit and crochet (left handed and hilariously awkward at first) and from there there was no going back. This might sound a little out there, but I often feel my Mom`s presence when I'm working on a new project or design. She passed away when I was a teenager and I'd like to think that she'd be proud of me even if I never did figure out that sewing machine. Art has been such an outlet for me throughout my life and has helped me endure quite a handful of losses and trauma. I honestly don't know what I would do without my creativity.
Thank goodness for this colorful, creatively chaotic and trippy world I've made for myself.
I absolutely invite you to walk said world with me
