About this Product

This listing is for my latest design, a long colorful scarf with fringe, freeform crocheted in a plethora of earthtones, blues, and turquoise hues in vegan friendly, wool free fibers.

Soft, warm and thick. All of the yarns used here are recycled, making it a great eco friendly accessory.

The unique mix of colors makes this a cozy piece of wearable art.

I add the colors and fibers as they "speak" to me. It's basically painting with yarn. It's fun.

With freeform crochet, & all of my creations, I never follow patterns to keep myself entertained. All of my designs are original.

Ready to ship. Yay.

MEASUREMENTS:

Laid flat, scarf measures approximately 82 inches long ( with the fringe included ) and around 5 & 1/ 2 inches wide.

CARE:

Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent, gently squeeze excess water, allow to air dry.

***

For as long as I can remember I have always been doing something creative. As a little girl I drew constantly and one of my most vivid memories is of my mother teaching me how to make my very first hand sewn stitches on to pieces of scrap fabric that she'd been saving for me since I was a toddler. My mom was an incredibly talented self~ taught seamstress and while I never quite got the hang of the sewing machine myself, in my early twenties I taught myself to knit and crochet (left handed and hilariously awkward at first) and from there there was no going back. This might sound a little out there, but I often feel my Mom`s presence when I'm working on a new project or design. She passed away when I was a teenager and I'd like to think that she'd be proud of me even if I never did figure out that sewing machine. Art has been such an outlet for me throughout my life and has helped me endure quite a handful of losses and trauma. I honestly don't know what I would do without my creativity.

Thank goodness for this colorful, creatively chaotic and trippy world I've made for myself.

I absolutely invite you to walk said world with me
