About this Product
This is a small decorative sculpture of a Jorunna parva nudibranch. These sea slugs are also called "Sea Bunnies" because of their fuzzy appearance. This sculpture would be the perfect desk companion for someone that loves ocean life.
All of my sculptures are handmade out of 100% wool, using a process called Needle Felting. My wool fiber comes from sources that are sustainably and humanely farmed here in the United States.
All needle felted sculptures are delicate and should only be used for decorative purposes. This product is not a toy, please keep away from children and pets.
Sclupture Dimentions: 3 inches long and 1.5 inches high

Meet the Maker
I graduated from Central Washington University in 2013 with a BFA in Drawing and Painting.
I specialize in wool fiber sculpture, watercolor illustration, and printmaking.
The subjects of my artwork are primarily animals found in the Pacific Northwest. I have always been fascinated with biology and zoology, and I want to use my art as an educational tool about local wildlife. My style can be described as realistic, but cute.
I'm also a youth art instructor for Arbutus Folk School in Olympia, WA.
How it’s Made
Needle felting is the process of using specialized barbed needles that grab onto the scales on wool fibers. As you jab the wool with the needles, the fibers are bound together and slowly form a solid shape.
